Regular sunflower oil is refined — processed with chemicals and high heat, which removes most of its natural Vitamin E and flavour. Ours is wood-pressed using the kacchi ghani method with no chemicals and no refining, so it keeps its natural nutrients and a mild sunflower aroma.

Refined oils are extracted at high heat with chemical solvents, which squeezes the maximum oil out of every kilo of seed and then strips out the colour, aroma and nutrients. We slow-press the seeds without heat or chemicals, which gives less oil per kilo — but what you get is the whole, unrefined oil, with nothing removed and nothing added.
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and use a dry spoon or pour directly. It is best used within 6 months of opening. As there are no preservatives, you may notice a little natural settling at the bottom — that is normal for unrefined oil.

Yes — within 15 days of delivery, free of charge. Damaged, leaking, defective or wrong items are always covered; message us on WhatsApp or email teams@alyaara.com with your order number and a photo for a replacement or full refund. Other items can be returned or exchanged if they are unopened with the seal intact and within their best-before date. As these are food products, opened items can only be returned if there is a quality issue.
