A2 Desi Cow Ghee

It is made only from the milk of indigenous Gir cows, whose milk naturally contains the A2 type of protein. Many families prefer A2 ghee because they find it easier to digest than regular ghee.

Using the traditional bilona method: the milk is set into curd, the curd is churned to separate the butter, and the butter is slowly simmered into ghee. It is slower than the industrial cream method, but it is what gives the ghee its rich aroma.

The rich golden colour and grainy (danedar) texture come naturally from slow-cooking the butter. It's what traditional homemade ghee looks like.

Both are bilona-churned with no preservatives. Choose A2 Desi Cow Ghee if you specifically want ghee from indigenous Gir cow milk; choose Pure Cow Ghee for great everyday ghee at a lower price.

No. Ghee keeps well at room temperature in a closed jar. Always use a clean, dry spoon — water or food particles getting into the jar are what spoil ghee. It may be semi-solid in cool weather and liquid in summer; both are normal.
